Forecasters are warning of a low-pressure system that is ready to hit the province, bring with it freezing rain and icy holiday travel conditions.

The system is developing in Alberta and will move into Saskatchewan Thursday night before carrying onto Manitoba on Friday. Early reports show the system will follow Highway 11 from Saskatoon through Regina and then to Brandon. Moose Jaw is still part of a special weather statement that's warning of the potential for extremely icy travel conditions this weekend.

We'll get a better idea of who will get the rain as the system starts to move east.
