A low-scoring affair at Mosaic Stadium on Thursday, as the Saskatchewan Roughriders squeaked out their third win of the season with a 12-11 win over the Edmonton Elks. The Roughriders would score nine unanswered points in the fourth quarter on their way to the victory. Trevor Harris threw for 292 yards and a touchdown. 

Sticking with the gridiron....Central Collegiate's Javin Boynton joins Team Saskatchewan's U18 squad for the Canada Cup in Edmonton, which starts on Friday through until July 15. Saskatchewan kicks off their tournament on Sunday against New Brunswick.

Over to baseball, the Moose Jaw Miller Express have a busy night ahead of them, as they're hosting the Weyburn Beavers at Ross Wells Park for a doubleheader. Game one kicks off at 6:05 p.m. and then the second game begins at 9:05 p.m. Moose Jaw swept Weyburn last weekend in a two-game series. 

The 18U AA Canucks fell to the Regina Blue Jays on Thursday 13-10. The 18U AAA Canucks are preparing for their first-ever home tournament. The six-team tournament gets underway on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Ross Wells Park. The Canucks kick off their tournament against the Medicine Hat Monarchs at 12:00 p.m.

A pair of golfers are feeling pretty good after a couple of hole-in-ones yesterday at the Hillcrest Golf Club. Luke Warren blasted a 302-yard ace on hole 9 using his driver. Then Kevin Engel used his three-wood on hole 12 from the blue tees and carried his ball 192 yards into the cup.

The Toronto Blue Jays wrapped up their series in Chicago with a sweep of the White Sox by scores of 6-2 and 5-4 on Thursday.
