Another mini heat wave has hit southern Saskatchewan as we expect 35 degrees Tuesday and 30 degrees for Wednesday.

As the end of the summer draws near residents have at least one more week to enjoy the heat. The forecast for this week is filled with sunshine and temperatures above normal for the end of August.

But what about the long term as we prepare for the fall? Environment Canada Meteorologist Bob Cormier fills us in. "Its kind of hard to tell on a detailed day to day basis but it looks like the rest of the month will be near to above normal for temperatures. Right now our prediction for the fall months is a near normal temperature regime from September to November."

For now we can expect mid-summer like conditions with a high of 35 degrees expected for Tuesday and 35 for Wednesday.
