Gwen Wilson of Moose Jaw peacefully passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 96. Gwen was born in Rhein, SK on May 31, 1927. She moved often as her parents were school teachers. Most of her school years were spent in Spring Coulee, AB. It is also where she married Ivan (Amos) Wilson on August 27, 1950. They met when Gwen was attending nursing school here in Moose Jaw, which she later graduated from and spent many years working as a Registered Nurse. They went on to have three children Kris, Graham and Brian. Gwen loved crosswords, knitting, crocheting and watching curling. Gwen enjoyed many summers at Buffalo Pound Lake with her family and lake friends. Her later years were spent visiting with family and friends. She loved all her grandchildren and was always excited to hear about a new great grandchild. Gwen was quiet and strong but had a great sense of humour. We have lost our rock and she will be missed by all that knew her.

Gwen was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Anne, Husband Amos, two brothers Barry (Gladis) and Doug Thompson, sister Winnie Gauthier, brother in law Dennis Harley.
