Hail damage numbers have spiked in the last two weeks.  Claims for Alberta and Saskatchewan are still within the five year average but the severity of the storms and subsequent hail damage is very high in many areas.

Hundreds of claims have been filed in Saskatchewan over the past two weeks with the majority of the claims coming from that August 8 storm that cut a wide swath across the southern portion of the province.

The intensity of the larger storms moving thru the province has been much higher than normal and hail damage has been significant, with above average payouts in some areas.
