Siera Bearchell during her first trip to Africa

Sometimes we take health care for granted in Canada and a local woman wants to make sure the people of Kenya have access to the basics that help save lives.

Siera Bearchell is trying to raise enough money to build a rural health centre in the African nation and is currently in a contest that could get her $5000 closer to her goal. "I helped work on my first health clinic when I was in Africa and now I have a goal of one day being able to going over there and build a health clinic."

"What I have to do is get into the top three for the most amount of votes." explained Bearchell when asked about the neverstopmilk.ca contest. "From the top three, there's a panel of judges who will pick the most worthwhile cause."

You can vote for her by clicking here.  We have until the middle of December to vote and as of November 23rd, Bearchell was in fourth place.
