Trees are starting to be set up, lights are getting lit up and presents are being purchased. The Christmas season is just around the corner and this week, Santa comes for a visit.
The night that many kids and parents are looking forward too is set for Friday, November 25th. The Kinsmen Club of Moose Jaw Santa Claus Parade and Lights On Ceremony will end the week and the forecast is looking pretty good.
Kelvin Bradford says the annual event is always popular with the kids and he hopes there's a good turn-out this year. "5th Avenue has done a tremendous job the latest couple years with the lights on ceremonies and then the hot chocolate afterwards. It's gone really, really well."
As in the past, the parade will start at 7 o'clock on Manitoba Street and will proceed north on Main Street to Cordova. Santa Clause will be making his way to the 5th Avenue Collection for the Lights on Ceremony with hot chocolate will be served as well.
