Area highways may be a little slick this morning for those travelling on them after a burst of snow, cold temperatures, and wind. Before making the trip on the highways, Discover Moose Jaw wanted to advise you of highway conditions as of 10:40 a.m.

The Saskatchewan Highway Hotline says that crews continue cleaning up the motor vehicle collision that occurred on Wednesday morning. They say the semi is still in the ditch 4.8 kilometres west of the Highway 39 junction. They ask motorists to reduce speed and use extreme caution in the area. 

Highway 1 from Moose Jaw to Belle Plaine is clear with some blowing and drifting snow, but visibility is reduced from Belle Plaine Regina, with some icy and slippery sections and blowing snow.

Highway #1 west of Moose Jaw to Parkbeg: Winter driving conditions exist with good visibility. 

Highway #1 west of Parkbeg to Swift Current: Reduced visibility with swirling, drifting, and blowing snow. 

Highway #2 north of Moose Jaw to Chamberlain: Winter driving conditions exist with good visibility and blowing and drifting snow. 

Highway #2 south of Moose Jaw to Assiniboia: Winter driving conditions exist with good visibility and some drifting and blowing snow

Highway #39 southeast from Moose Jaw to Weyburn: Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, with some drifting snow.
