The Moose Jaw Public Library is wrapping up its summer programming, but that doesn't mean that activities will slow down.

This Saturday, an End Of Summer Party for all ages, will end the library's summer programming with a blast.

"We'll be having the reptile zoo come in and bring a bunch of wild and crazy amphibians and reptiles to end our summer with a blast," said Tina Dolcetti, head librarian at the Moose Jaw Public Library. "We will also be doing prize draws for more of our magnificent children's and youth prizes, and we will be having some great treats and so basically there is fun and there is food and there are prizes and that starts on Saturday at 2:30."

Dolcetti says if the weather cooperates, the party will be held outside.

Adult summer programming will also wrap up this Saturday, namely the adult summer reading challenge.

"It's coming to a close now, so if [they] have any ballots they want to submit, please do that. It was an eight-week challenge, and people could read books and then enter to win a prize."

Dolcetti said that the number of kids participating in summer programming was great this year, and that the fun doesn't have to stop just because they're going back to school soon.

Regular programming offered for youths and teens includes weekly writing circles, crafting evenings, Magic the Gathering, game nights, movie nights, and more.

Programming for parents, babies, and pre-schoolers will also continue to be offered.

Dolcetti says that all programming is open to all members of the public.

"Come to the library and experience all we have to offer because we have quite a lot."
