The Moose Jaw Miller Express returned to .500 with a record of 13-13 after a 10-9 extra-innings victory over the Saskatoon Berries on Tuesday night at Ross Wells Park.

Moose Jaw found themselves down 3-1 after the first inning. Thomas Soto scored for the Miller Express off a Nate Mensik single in the first.

The Miller Express dug themselves in a hole early as Saskatoon scored one in the second, one in the third and two in the top of the fourth to go ahead 7-1.

Moose Jaw rebounded in the bottom of the fifth inning with five runs to make it 7-6. Austin Gurney's single scored Soto and Bobby Pokorney. Nathan Houston and Gurney would then score off a pair of wild pitches. Declan O'Hare drove in the fifth run off a double to score Mensik.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Mensik doubled to score Houston and Gurney. A Wyatt Tweet walk would score Mensik to give the Miller Express a 9-7 lead.

The Berries would then score a pair in the top of the eighth inning and a scoreless ninth inning would send the game into extra innings.

After holding Saskatoon off the scoresheet in the top of the 10th, Houston singled to score Soto for the walk-off victory.

The Miller Express went deep into their bullpen on Tuesday night, utilizing nine different pitchers. Jadon Canelli picked up the win, pitching one inning and allowing no hits and no runs while striking out two.

A look at the East Division standings, Moose Jaw sits in third place, 1.5 games back of Medicine Hat for second and seven games back of first-place Regina.

The Miller Express are back in action on Thursday night at 7 p.m. when they host the Swift Current 57s on Thursday at Ross Wells Park.
