The Moose Jaw Police Service and Moose Jaw Fire Department believe a number of garage fires that have occurred in Moose Jaw over the last number of weeks, are the result of arson.

A media release was sent out earlier this week by the police service after 2 more fires took place over the last number of days, and they are now looking for any information that residents might have.

Fire Chief Rod Montgomery.

"Certainly there was some grease or something that was ignited and so we know it was done intentionally. If anybody has any information, certainly contact the Moose Jaw City Police."

"It seems to be happening on south hill right now, but there have been other locations throughout the year."

So far, none of the fires have resulted in major damage.

Earlier in July, the Moose Jaw Police Service and Fire Department issued an advisory that a number of fires were being intentionally lit in Moose Jaw's River Park as well. No arrests have been made.
