Two people are facing a number of gun and drug-related charges after a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Athabasca Street East on Monday.

During the stop, Moose Jaw police said officers saw a gun in the back seat and gained a search warrant for the vehicle.

Inside the vehicle police found a loaded gun and ammunition, 29 grams of Methamphetamine, and money.

As part of the investigation, police executed a search warrant at a house on the 1200 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast where they found another gun and ammunition and cocaine.

Randy Payton of Caronport has been charged with possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime under $5,000, and numerous firearm offenses.

Christopher Waffle of Moose Jaw has been charged with possession of cocaine and firearm offenses.

A woman from Regina was also arrested by later released without charges.
