The Provincial Budget is being released in Regina today and we will soon find out where our hard earned tax dollars will be spent.

The future of Saskatchewan will be laid out in Regina this morning as the provincial government presents its 2007 budget.

A lot of speculation surrounds the budget especially after the federal government announced 226 million dollars in extra equalization money on Monday.

Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Brian Martynook already has an idea of what it should be spent on. "I think the main thing right now is property tax and the portion for education. A lot of people are talking about how it was reduced by eight percent and how they would like to reduce it more."

Many groups in the province are calling for increased spending on education since numerous schools are being considered for closure this year.
