Moose Jaw Police responded to 37 calls for service.
8:20 am – Mischief – A vehicle was entered and gone through. The dash was torn apart. This happened sometime between Friday and Sunday, causing approximately $1000 in damages.
11:01 am – Suspicious Person– A subject stole a blue bin. Police located the subject, who was arrested on outstanding warrants.
11:32 am – Well Being Check – Police spoke with the subject, who declined any police assistance
12:05 pm – Motor Vehicle Accident – This was a two vehicle accident with no injuries. Police attended and assisted with a name exchange.
1:01 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A subject was reported falling off a bike on the sidewalk and was having trouble getting up. The area was searched and the subject was gone on police arrival.
1:14 pm – Mischief – A vehicle was unlocked and was entered. A subject had taken a dash cam.
4:21 pm – Theft Under – A brass bell was stolen off a vehicle. Police are still investigating.
5:05 pm – Theft Under – A complainant called in about a purse being stole out of a vehicle, and there was no sign of a break and enter to the vehicle. The complainant later called back to advise that the purse was found in their residence.
5:49 pm – Unwanted Guest – Police received a complaint of two subjects sitting outside a business scaring customers away. Police attended and the subjects were looking for wifi. They were asked to move on.
6:15 pm – Dog Barking – There was a report of a dog barking for several hours. Police attended to address the issue and listened, and there was no dog barking.
7:13 pm – Fire Call – A complaint called regarding a residence having an open fire about 3 feet from a fence. Police attended and the area was checked. There were no signs of smoke or fire in the area.
8:29 pm – Theft Under – A complainant had their shed broken into and approximately $1000 in various yard care items were stolen. Police are still investigating.
9:05 pm – Dispute – A subject was asked to leave a residence and started trashing the place. The subject had a dispute with parents and they were advised to change the locks and evict the subject. The situation was mediated.
11:38 pm – Noise Complaint – Resident owners were spoken to and warned under the noise bylaw. Police later had to attend back to the residence as they had gotten louder. The residents were then issued a ticket under the noise bylaw.
