Moose Jaw Police responded to 39 calls for service.

8:21 am – Found Property – A wallet with ID was turned in. Police are investigating to make contact with the owner.

8:40 am – Fraud – An adult was defrauded when seeking a loan through an online lending company. A $1757 loss was reported.

10:59 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle parked blocking a driveway.  The homeowner called back to cancel Police as they had located the vehicle owner.

11:44 am – Federal Statute – Multiple packages of illegal cigarettes were seized under the Tobacco and Excise Act.

2:41 pm – Assault – Parents reported a minor assault between children. 

5:16 pm – Wellbeing Check – Information was gained that an adult had overdosed on medication.  The subject was located and was just fine.

5:16 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle parked too close to a driveway.  A ticket was issued.

5:36 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was seized for 30 days on behalf of SGI after a second offence of driving an unregistered vehicle.

5:54 pm – Traffic Bylaw – A semi was noted parked off the truck route, and there was concern over damage to the roads.  The truck owner is to be warned.

6:05 pm – Collision – This was a vehicle vs motorcycle incident. There were no injuries, 1 tow, $5000 of damage and 1 ticket issued for an illegal U-turn.

7:41 pm – Dispute – Options were explained regarding an ongoing custody dispute.

8:00 pm – Breach Court Order – An adult failed to make restitution as ordered by the court in the time frame allotted.  A warrant was issued.

11:35 pm – Disturbance – An adult was stressing out after a minor family argument.  This was mediated by police.

12:35 am – Dispute – There was an unwanted family member on the property.  The subject was sent away by police.

Police issued four warrants.
