Moose Jaw Police responded to 38 calls for service.

8:23 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was blocking the complainant’s driveway and a parking ticket was issued.

9:01 am – Theft Under – Items were stolen from a complainant. This is still under investigation.

9:30 am – MVA Over – A vehicle drove into the complainant’s property. Police spoke with the complainant, who is to follow up with SGI.

10:08 am – Theft Over – A trailer and the items inside were stolen. This is still under investigation.

10:31 am – Shoplifting – A suspect did not pay for all items when checking out. This is still under investigation.

12:30 pm – Disturbance – There was a dispute between two parties. Advice was given and the dispute was mediated.

1:53 pm – Harassing Calls – The complainant was spoken with, and advice and options were given.

3:33 pm – MVA Under – There was a two vehicle accident resulting in no injuries, no tow, and minor damages. It was reported for out of province plates.

3:56 pm – Shoplifting – A subject stole merchandise. The subjected was located and paid for the items. The situation was mediated.

3:57 pm – MVA Under – A two vehicle accident resulted in no injuries. One tow was required, and a ticket was issued for an improper right hand turn.

3:55 pm – Well Being Check – A complainant was concerned for the wellbeing of a subject. The subject was located and doing well. No concerns.

4:35 pm – Hit and Run – Vehicle vs pedestrian, resulting in minor bumps and bruises. This is still under investigation to obtain video footage.

7:53 pm – Other Bylaw – There was a report of a disturbance in the parking lot, and all parties were gone upon police arrival.

8:04 pm – PACT – There was a wellbeing check on a subject. The subject was not home and did not answer the phone call. PACT is to complete a follow up.

8:48 pm – Driving Impaired – A subject blew a warning and was given a suspension. The vehicle was towed.

9:43 pm – Noise Bylaw – A subject was warned under the noise bylaw and stated they would keep the noise down.

9:50 pm – Traffic Obstruction – It appeared a semi had knocked over a power pole. SaskPower attended and moved the pole.

10:46 pm – Assault Peace Officer – A subject was charged and will be released.

11:04 pm – Fraud – This is still under investigation to issue a warrant for food fraud.

11:22 pm – Shoplifting – There was video footage of a subject stealing items. This is still under investigation to identify the subject.   

2:54 am – Suspicious Vehicle – A complainant was concerned the vehicle may have been stolen. Police confirmed the vehicle was not stolen and made contact with the driver who moved the vehicle. 

Police completed two curfew checks.
Police assisted other agencies in five cases.
Police responded to four 911 calls.
PACT responded on one occasion.
Police responded to one alarm call.
