Moose Jaw Police responded to 46 calls for service. 

8:05 am – Theft Under – A complainant called to report a theft of their debit card that was used at a business nearby. This is still under investigation to speak with the suspect.

9:20 am – MVA – There were two vehicles involved, resulting in one tow and one charge. Approximately $10,000 in damage was done.

10:16 am – Weapons Call – A subject was located in a parking lot with an exacto knife, claiming to be looking for someone. No one was injured. The subject was arrested.

10:52 am – Theft Under – The complainant had money stolen from their wallet. This is still under investigation.

12:25 pm – Shoplifting – The suspect was caught on camera stealing items from the store. This is still under investigation to locate and charge the suspect.

1:17 pm – Dispute – A complainant got into a dispute with a stranger outside a local business. The subject was getting aggressive towards the complainant. No one was injured, and this is still under investigation.

2:01 pm – Harassing Calls – A complainant was receiving calls and texts from an individual who is refusing to stop. This is still under investigation for police to speak with the subject.

2:11 pm – Hit and Run – This happened sometime between Saturday and Monday. A complainant’s vehicle was hit, causing $5,000 in damage.

2:39 pm – Hit and Run – A complainant’s vehicle was hit sometime in the morning while in Regina. A form was filled out and forwarded to Regina Police Service.

2:42 pm – Threats – A complainant was receiving threats to cause bodily harm from an individual. This is still under investigation.

2:46 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject who was previously banned was issued a ticket for trespassing.

3:03 pm – Assault – A physical altercation took place over property with a complainant and a family member. The complainant didn’t want to press charges but wanted them spoken to.

3:56 pm – MVA – A two vehicle accident was reported with 1 minor injury.

5:32 pm – Warrant Executed – A subject came to the police station to turn their self in on outstanding warrants and was released for court at a later date.

7:27 pm – Mischief – A complainant came to the police station to report mischief to their vehicle that occurred sometime the night before.

7:39 pm – Disturbance – A complainant called in to report someone causing a disturbance in a business. The subject left upon arrival. This is still under investigation for police to speak with the suspect about their actions.

7:54 pm – Impaired Driver – A complainant called in to report a subject who hit a parked vehicle. Police arrived and the subject was determined to be impaired. The individual was charged and held in cells until morning.

9:09 pm – Fraud – A complainant called in to report someone attempting to use their banking information at local business. This is still under investigation for police to obtain video footage.

10:41 pm – Dispute – Police were dispatched to a dispute being heard. The situation was mediated and they agreed to keep the noise down.

Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in six cases.
