Moose Jaw Police received 28 calls for service.  

10:41 am – Police performed a well being check on the 1200 block of 9th Avenue NE. Complainant concerned for the wellbeing of a person. The individual was located and they are well.  They were involved in a dispute with the complainant.

11:32 am – Theft reported on the 400 block of the North Service Road. Vehicle drove off without paying for gas. The matter is under investigation to locate the registered owner of the vehicle. 

12:00 pm – Dispute reported on the 0 block of Bluebell Crescent. The situation was mediated.

12:40 pm – Theft under reported on the 600 block of Main Street S. Licence plate stolen from vehicle overnight, the matter is still under investigation.

1:02 pm – Mischief reported on the 1600 block of Botting Bay. Complainant reporting that they lost a tire while driving.  All 5 lug nuts came off while driving and they lost the tire. Approximately $2500 damage and the vehicle needed to be towed. The matter is still under investigation. 

3:53 pm – Trespassing reported on the 100 block of Main Street N. Person panhandling in area.  Person located by police and charged with trespassing as they had been previously banned from premise. 

5:32 pm – Motor vehicle accident reported on the 900 block of Main Street N. Two vehicles involved, no injuries reported. Approximately $2500 in damage and one driver was charged with driving without due care and attention. 

5:57 pm – Dangerous dog reported on the 800 block of Algoma Avenue. Reports of a large breed dog running at large and reported to be aggressive. Dog was located and picked up by the Humane Society. 

7:17 pm – Dispute reported on the 1300 block of Algoma Avenue. The situation was mediated upon police arrival and the parties were separated for the night. 

7:24 pm - Multiple reports of a semi truck partially blocking live lane of traffic on Highway #1 and 9th Avenue NW.  No traffic cones or four way lights activated which made for poor visibility.  Police were able to activate four way flashers and contact the dispatch of the trucking company and they were able to have it towed from the highway.  

Police responded to Seven 911 Calls.

Police executed 1 warrant.

Police performed 1 curfew check.
