Moose Jaw Police responded to 32 calls for service.  

8:14 am – Unwanted Guest – A person was sleeping in a vestibule. The individual was sent on their way. 

10:43 am – Fraud – The subject gave out personal information. They changed all their banking information. 

11:25 am – Dispute – An individual over borrowed money. The situation was mediated. 

11:29 am – Fraud – A known person tried cashing a cheque in someone else’s name. The suspect was gone on police arrival, and this is still under investigation. 

12:02 pm – Assist EMS – A person was transported to hospital on their own will for care. 

2:21 pm – Shoplifting – The subject stole approximately $200 worth of merchandise. They were located and arrested and charged. The individual was released with a later court date and was issued a ban letter for the business. 

2:26 pm – Mischief – A window was smashed out of a vehicle. The file number was provided. 

2:55 pm – Wellbeing Check – The subject was located and was doing fine. 

3:43 pm – Dispute – Nothing criminal was occurring, and the situation was mediated. 

3:53 pm – Trespass – Two individuals were dumping garbage in the yard. One person was charged with assault and trespassing, and the other was charged with mischief and trespassing. 

5:12 pm – Dispute – A person stormed out with no shoes. The individual was located and taken to friends. 

5:59 pm – Dispute – The subject was located and charged with assault. The individual was held in cells. 

6:15 pm – Driving Dangerous – There was a report of younger children riding in the hatch part of a vehicle. The vehicle has rear facing seats and the kids were buckled in properly. 

9:28 pm – Unwanted Guest – The person left as the police arrived. 

10:42 pm – Unwanted Guest – The person was just resting and will continue on their way. 

1:13 am – Disturbance – The subject was screaming. The individual was located and was frustrated. They were advised to keep it down. 

3:06 am – Wellbeing Check – The subject was located and went voluntarily to the hospital for further care. 

4:50 am – Theft of Auto – Plate 463LXF, red 2010 Avalanche & 302GNL, white 1996 Chevrolet half ton was stolen early this morning. This was added to CPIC. 

Police assisted one other agency. 
Police executed one warrant. 
Police made three charges for breaches. 
Police responded to five 911 calls. 
Police responded to one alarm call.
