Moose Jaw Police responded to 33 calls for service.  

10:22 am – Unwanted Guest – An adult subject was located and arrested on outstanding Warrants. 

12:04 pm – Theft – 1000 blk Warner St – There was a report taken of a theft overnight Saturday where an unlocked vehicle was entered, and sunglasses were stolen.  

12:10 pm – Theft – 700 blk Grandview St W – There was a report taken of a theft sometime overnight where an unlocked vehicle was entered, and binoculars and a tablet were stolen. 

12:11 pm – Assault – Youth assaulted another youth.  A warrant was issued.  The suspect turned themselves in and was released with conditions of no contact. This is still under investigation. 

2:08 pm – Fire – There was a fire in the basement of the residence.  This was deemed not suspicious.  This is still under investigation to follow up with the fire inspector. 

2:39 pm – Impaired Driving – The vehicle was located.  The driver failed the roadside breath test.  They were arrested and failed further testing.  An adult was charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08. They were released for Court at a later date.  The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s license was suspended indefinitely. 

2:43 pm – Theft – 100 blk Everton Cr – There was a theft from an unlocked vehicle sometime overnight.  Video was obtained. This is still under investigation. 

4:08 pm – Dispute – There was a verbal family dispute, which was mediated. 

4:25 pm – AGRA – A liquor in a motor vehicle ticket was issued as per the Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act.  

6:34 pm – Theft – 800 blk Chester Road – There was a theft from an unlocked vehicle.  The public is reminded to lock doors to ensure security and remove any items of value. 

7:01 pm – Breach Court Order – An adult was in breach of conditions of no contact. This is still under investigation for charges. 

9:36 pm – Auto Theft – 1500 blk Athabasca St W – A black Ford Fusion was stolen and was later seen westbound from the City.  RCMP was notified. This is still under investigation. 

12:50 am – Trespass – An adult was caught on property, and the homeowner knew the subject.  The subject was located and was issued a trespass ticket. 

Police executed sixteen warrants. 
Police assisted other agencies in two cases.
