Moose Jaw Police responded to 51 calls for service.  

7:40 am – Found Property – A cell phone was turned in. The owner was notified for pickup. 

9:44 am – Suspicious Person – A person was picking rocks for drainage in their yard. Nothing criminal was occurring. 

11:08 am – Dispute – The situation was mediated. Advice was given. 

11:51 am – Dog Bylaw – The dog was taken out of the city for now. A statement was taken and was to be forwarded to bylaw. 

2:08 pm – Well-being check – No safety concerns were reported. This was a dispute and the situation was mediated. 

3:37 pm – Mischief – There was a report of a person trying to damage an ATM. They were located, and the individual was actually helping a person use it. 

3:43 pm – Traffic Safety – A person riding a skateboard failed to stop. This is still under investigation to locate them. 

4:03 pm – Driving Erratic – A plate number was provided. This is still under investigation to speak to the registered owner. 

4:52 pm – Shoplifting – A person stole $42 worth of alcohol. This is still under investigation for video and charges. 

4:59 pm – Dog Bylaw – Police spoke to the owner about the barking dog bylaw. 

5:38 pm – Weapons Call – The subject was in a parking lot waving a weapon around. The individual was located, arrested and charged. They were held in cells. 

5:45 pm – Hit & Run (200 blk Fairford St E) – A vehicle was hit. This is still under investigation. 

6:13 pm – Theft – A vehicle was entered and items were taken. This is still under investigation to review video. 

7:15 pm – MVA – A two vehicle accident occurred. There was 1 tow, 1 minor injury, and approximately $5000 of damage. 

7:32 pm – MVA – This ended up being non reportable. Police helped with name exchange. 

8:09 pm – Dispute – This was mediated. One party left and will not be back. 

8:17 pm – Well-being Check – The subject made contact and is fine. No safety concerns were reported. 

8:44 pm – Dispute – A verbal argument took place, and the situation was mediated. 

9:02 pm – Landlord/tenant – Dispute – Advice was given, and nothing criminal was occurring. 

9:27 pm – Assault – The subject was located and was taken to hospital by EMS. 

9:57 pm – Loud Party – Everyone was sent on their way. The fire was attended to put the bonfire out. 

10:22 pm – Fire Call – A camper was burned. This is still under investigation to review video. 

11:20 pm – Suspicious – A car was parked in front of a house. The driver left in another vehicle. Nothing criminal or suspicious was occurring. 

11:44 pm – Theft – A vehicle was entered and bags were taken containing items. The individual was advised to cancel ID cards, and this is still under investigation. 

11:52 pm – Assault – One person took off. This is still under investigation to locate and charge them with assault. 

1:12 am – Dispute – The situation was mediated, and the individual was sent on their way. 

1:31 am – Suspicious Person – The person was located and escorted back to their room. 

2:21 am – Intoxicated Person – The subject was located and given a ride home and was left in care of family. 

Police responded to nine 911 calls. 
Police responded to two alarm calls. 
Police executed two warrants.
