Police and Fire Report for September 7-8

Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service.  

9:08 am – Suspicious Person – One person was warned for theft. 

10:18 am – Mischief – An incident of mischief occurred sometime overnight to a vehicle. 

10:34 am – Dispute – A landlord was having a dispute with a tenant. They were advised to contact the Rentalsman’s Office. 

11:43 am – Suspicious Occurrence – There was a report of a vehicle with the window smashed. This is still under investigation. 

12:35 pm – Trespass – One trespassing ticket was issued to an individual for being on a business property. 

12:39 pm – Driving Erratic – There was a report of a vehicle that cut off another vehicle. The owner was warned for the driving actions. 

1:21 pm – Disturbance – One mischief ticket was issued to an individual for being on a business property. 

2:11 pm – Theft Under – Items were stolen from a trailer. This is still under investigation. 

3:30 pm – MVA – A two vehicle accident took place in a parking lot. No injuries resulted. 

4:05 pm – Assault in Progress – Approximately 5 individuals were involved in a fight. This is still under investigation. 

7:09 pm – Break and Enter – Sometime in the past week, a garage was broken into and items were taken. 

7:39 pm – Driving Erratic – There was a report of a vehicle all over the road. The license plate was obtained. This is still under investigation to speak with the owner. 

8:50 pm – Well Being Check – There was a request to check on the neighbor. Police attended, and both people in the residence agreed to keep things down for the night. 

8:50 pm – Loud Party – Police attended for a noisy party. The home owner was warned. 

9:15 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – People were checking vehicle doors in a residential area. Patrols were made, and the suspects were gone prior to arrival.  

12:18 am – Dispute – A group of individuals got into an altercation. This is still under investigation. 

12:54 am – Suspicious Occurrence – There was a report of concerns for an individual that was inside of a parked vehicle for an extended length of time. This is still under investigation. 

1:42 am – Intoxicated Person – Police located two individuals fighting on the street. Both subjects were arrested for public intoxication and issued tickets for fighting in public.
