A couple of accidents in downtown Moose Jaw Wednesday send young people to the hospital with minor injuries.

 

A nasty accident at the corner of Main and River Streets in downtown Moose Jaw late Wednesday afternoon sent a 14 year old girl to the hospital.

The young girl was riding her bicycle when she collided with a car. The girl was treated at the scene and then rushed to the Union Hospital but her injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Police are investigating.

Charges are pending after another single vehicle crash on Main Street Wednesday night.

Around 10:15 emergency crews rushed to the 900 block of Main Street to find a vehicle had jumped the curb hitting a meridian sign. 4 people were taken to hospital for minor injuries including the 18-year-old female driver.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash and charges are pending.
