With another year comes another sellout.

This past Saturday the Little Princess Ball had people lined up to the door for the one day they sell to the community, some even waiting since 4:30 am to get their tickets.

Tickets were available for both the Saturday and Sunday event in March, but within 30 minutes, tickets for Saturday were already sold out.

"All the pressure was off once [we sold out]," Chair of the Little Princess Ball Elaine Crocker said. "We're excited that it's quick, we always try to beat last year's time and we did, so we're excited for that."

If you missed the tickets sale at the Heritage Inn, there are still tickets available for Sunday and they'll appear online soon. Check the Little Princess Ball's Facebook page for updates on that.

Last year's 10th Princess Ball managed to raise an astounding $64,671.82 for the Women's Health Unit in the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, and this year they hope to beat that and raise even more and purchase a Birthing Bed for the unit.

Those not looking to purchase tickets can definitely sponsor the event. For example, organizations could sponsor certain aspects of the ball, such as the candy table. They also will take any monetary donations or prize donations for their raffles.

Either way, it looks to be another magical event, even if they're keeping the tradition of keeping the theme a secret.

"We like to keep the excitement secret so when the little kids arrive here they have no idea until they walk down our hallway and they see the decor and it's like 'oh my gosh, it's this princess' so we like that," Crocker exclaimed. "We've been on top of this since July so we made our donation to the Women's Health Unit in June so right in July we started [planning] right away."

The Little Princess Ball is this March on the 30th and 31st.
