With summer behind us, the province is now looking for feedback on the wild fires as they review their response to the extreme situation this year.

The comprehensive review will include online public consultations with those impacted by the fires to see what can be improved before next summer. An internal assessment is also part of the review.

Wild fires threatened a number of communities in northern Saskatchewan and forced thousands of people to abandon their homes, living for weeks in Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert or with families in other areas of the province.
