There were a pair of serious accidents in southern Saskatchewan over the Victoria Day long weekend.

RCMP say one man was killed in a single vehicle rollover on Highway #1 near Parkbeg Saturday night.  The accident occured in the eastbound lane about 4.5 km west of the community, situated about 60 km west of Moose Jaw. 

On Friday, STARS Ambulance was utilized after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 39 near Weyburn.

The collision between a pickup truck and a car resulted in the driver of one of the car being airlifted to Regina hospital with serious injuries.

There have been no updates on the victim's condition, and police continue to investigate both accidents.
