The Assiniboia Southern Rebels beat Regina 4-1 Wednesday night, winning their fourth straight game.

 

The Assiniboia Southern Rebels have put their slow start to the PJHL season behind them.

The Rebels extended their current winning streak to four games with a 4-1 win Wednesday night in Regina.

Yuzo Wakatsuki scored two goals, while Josh Humpries and Julien Fafard notched singles.

Tyson Lanz was solid between the pipes making 33 saves in the win.

The Rebels went 1/5 on the power play and 7/8 on the penalty kill.

Assiniboia's record improved to 5-6-0-1 and their 11 points has them in sole possession of third place in the PJHL's South Division.

Next up for the Rebels is a tilt against the Saskatoon Westley's, 1pm Sunday Afternoon at the Assiniboia Civic Center.
