The City of Moose Jaw has released its 2023 Summer Recreation Guide.

Registration is now open in person or online.

The guide includes

- Yara Centre Summer Day Camps, Playground Program and Youth Activity Centre
- Kinsmen Sportsplex Pool, Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool and Spray Park Schedules
- Wakamow Valley Authority Programs
- Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery Programs
- Moose Jaw Public Library Programs

"This is our first full year of the outdoor pickleball courts, so we're very excited about that," said Recreation Services Manager Scott Osmachenko. "We also have expanded our summer day camps at the Yara Centre. If you're looking to keep your kids active and occupied throughout the summer, we have lots of space for you too."

The Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool is expected to open on Monday, June 12.

"We are going to start offering swim lessons again at the outdoor pool for the first little while, because the Kinsmen Sportsplex will be closed for our annual shutdown," explained Osmachenko. "We do have a schedule at the outdoor pool June 12 to 23 and then we do have two-week blocks and one-week blocks scheduled at the Kinsmen Sportsplex starting on July 4."

He notes the spray parks are scheduled to open on June 1.

"We are excited to see in the process the new spray park being built at Kinsmen Regal Heights. That will come online sometime this summer but the other six locations are ready to be open on June 1."

You can also register for programs in-person at the Kinsmen Sportsplex or Yara Centre.
