The Brad Wall Government is wasting no time getting back to work.  On Wednesday, Wall announced that the first session of the newly-elected Legislative assembly will begin on December 5th.

The 28 days between the Provincial Election on November 7th, in which the Saskatchewan Party won 49 of the 58 seats, and the first sitting is the shortest in Saskatchewan history.

The previous record of 33 days was set after the 2007 election, also won by the Saskatchewan Party.

The session will begin with the election of a speaker on the morning of December 5th.
