Motorists should use caution when heading out on the highways this afternoon. 

Discover Moose Jaw has received reports that drifting snow is sticking to the road on Highway 1 between Moose Jaw and Regina, making conditions slippery. There are also reports of vehicles in the ditches. 

Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline is showing conditions from Moose Jaw to Belle Plaine are icy or slippery sections and drifting snow as of 1:12 p.m. Belle Plaine to Regina is loose snow, pavement frost, icy and slippery sections, snow drifts, slush and drifting snow as of 12:06 p.m. 

Conditions on Highway 1 west of Moose Jaw are drifting snow as of 10 a.m. 

On Highway 2 north, motorists can expect icy or slippery sections and drifting snow as of 1:11 p.m. and seasonal conditions on Highway 2 south.
