It's moving day at the Moose Jaw Warriors training camp for players and rookies that are looking to earn a spot on this year's roster. Main and rookie camp practices and scrimmages are underway at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. Staff will cut the roster down to one big main camp later on Friday, and then scrimmages take place on Saturday leading up to the annual Black/White intrasquad game on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. 

Vanier Collegiate, Peacock, and Central Collegiate are all on the road this weekend, as they open up the 2022 Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association football season.  

Vanier will kick things off on Friday night as they will be travelling to Yorkton for a 5:00 p.m. kickoff. On Saturday, Central Collegiate will be on the road in Swift Current at 1:00 p.m., with Peacock also on the road in Estevan at 2:00 p.m. 

You couldn't plan the Men's League Baseball Championship on Thursday night at Ross Wells Park any other way. In the bottom of the ninth, the Mariners' Ryan Zerff hit a grand slam for the walk-off win and the title over the Bull Dogs. 

Team Canada advances to the semi-final at the Women's World Hockey Championship after shutting out Sweden on Thursday 3-0. Next up for Canada will be Switzerland in the semi-finals on Saturday, who are coming off a 3-1 win over Japan on Thursday. Team USA will be taking on the Czechs in the other semi-final.

Big news for the U18 AAA Warriors as they signed an agreement with GAP Athletics to be their strength and conditioning provider this season. 

Week 13 in the CFL begins with an east division matchup on Friday Night Football with the 4-6 Montreal Alouettes hosting the 2-8 Ottawa Redblacks. 

The Riders will be preparing for their Labour Day Classic against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Leading up to that will be the Riders Fan Day tomorrow at Mosaic Stadium. 

The Toronto Blue Jays are in Pittsburgh on Friday for a weekend series with the Pirates.
