They're winless after two games but, it's the pre-season. The Moose Jaw Warriors dropped both off their exhibition games against the Swift Current Broncos over the weekend by scores of 5-4 and 3-1. The Warriors are back to practice this week with an eye on their next two pre-season games. The home and home series against the Brandon Wheat Kings this weekend is Friday in Moose Jaw and Saturday in Brandon. You can hear both of these games on Country 100.

The U-18 Triple "A" Warriors won their first pre-season game 5-2 win over Swift Current Legionnaires.

"We played really good tonight. it was a good first game, we definitely have some work to do but overall, I think, we played pretty well together," said Liam Fitzpatrick who set up three of the five goals.

The U-18 Triple "A" Warriors host the Regina Pat Canadians tomorrow night.

Hillcrest Golf and Country Club held the club championships over the weekend. Lorie Boyle won the ladies' division while Chirs Knoops took the top spot in the men's division. Mark Albert took the senior men's title, Noah Thul the junior champ and in junior-junior, Tucker Knoop and Krosby Jackman shared the championship.

Moose Jaw Central Cyclones improved to 2 and 0 with a 14-7 win over Peacock Tornadoes, while the Swift Current Colts shutout the Vanier Vikings 14-0 in High School football action at Gutheridge Field on Saturday.

In case you missed it, the Saskatchewan Roughriders absorbed a 54-20 loss on Winnipeg on the weekend.  The Riders are now 6-7 and sitting in 4th place in the CFL west.  The Riders will host the Edmonton Elks on Friday night.
