When you’re hot, you’re hot! That’s how the Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors are feeling after a 4-0 win on Wednesday over the Notre Dame Hounds to win their sixth in a row.

For goaltender Ryan Bain, it was his first shutout of the season, as he made 37 saves for his 14th win of the year.

"I thought I was seeing the puck well tonight. I was tracking it off the stick and into myself," says Bain. "Again, a big team effort, as all the guys in front of me played really well and I can't thank them enough for that."

The Warriors will head to Yorkton this weekend for a two-game set with the Maulers, starting on Saturday night in Melville.

The Moose Jaw Warriors will be back in game action for the first time since Saturday, as they welcome the Winnipeg Ice tomorrow night to the Hangar. The puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. James Gallo the voice of the Warriors will have all the action on Country 100.

Sticking with the big club, they will be inducting former Warriors players Kevin Masters and Paul Dyck into the Conexus Warriors and Legends Hall of Fame on Thursday. The two will be also honoured at Friday's home game as well.

Junior boy's basketball was on display on Wednesday night. Assiniboia snuck by Briercrest 65-57, and South Hill was winners over Peacock 78-51.

And three Canadian teams took to the ice on Wednesday in the NHL. Toronto rolled to a 5-2 win over Chicago, Edmonton fell to Detroit in a shootout 5-4, and Vancouver fell to the Rangers 6-4.
