Two fatal collisions and one that looked a lot worse than it was. Saskatchewan RCMP had their hands full Thursday as warmer weather pushed out colder conditions.

Just after 10am, there was a 10 vehicle pile up on Highway 11 just outside of Lumsden that left twisted steel along the roadway and yet, no one was seriously hurt.  Icy conditions and fog were likely contributing factors.

Soon after, there was another crash but this time those involved weren't so luck. A 52 year old semi driver was killed when his truck was hit by a train on Highway #6 near Raymore. It was foggy at the time but no official word on the cause of the collision.

Two hours later there was another fatal collision as a semi and a three tonne truck collided head on east of Forget on Highway 13, north of Estevan.  The driver of the three tonne died at the scene, while the semi driver suffered serious facial injuries. RCMP are saying road conditions were not a factor but have not said what the cause was.
