The Regina Thunder dropped to 1-and-1 on the year with a 36-17 loss to the Colts in Calgary during Prairie Football Conference action on Sunday afternoon.

Moose Jaw's Sawyer Buettner was 20-of-32 passing for 226 yards and three interceptions in the loss. He had a long touchdown in the third quarter – which would have tied the game – to fellow Moose Jaw product Levi Paul called back on a penalty.

The Thunder’s four turnovers and being outscored 13-0 in the fourth quarter ended up sinking them in the loss.

Running back Victor St. Pierre-Laviolette scored the Thunder’s lone touchdown in the loss as he ran for 188 yards on 26 carries.

The Thunder will head to Winnipeg coming up this weekend when they take on the 1-1 Rifles on Saturday.
