The Moose Jaw Warriors kicked off a two game home stand Friday night against the Lethbridge Hurricanes but it didn't start out good for the Tribe as they were dropped by the Canes 5-2.

It was all Lethbridge early as they opened up the game with goals from Garrett Taylor and Colton Sceviour in the first four minutes.  Before the first was out Dwight King would make it 3-0 for the Hurricanes.

King would put in the only goal of the second period with a power play goal and his second of the game to put the Canes up four.

Brendan Rowinski would break Hurricanes goalie Juha Metsola's shut out five minutes into the third.  Dylan Hood would add another to pull the Warriors within two but it wasn't to be as Luca Sbisa would add his fourth of the season to make it a 5-2 Lethbridge win.

Deven Dubyk made the start for the Tribe but after making 10 saves on 12 shots was pulled in favour of Jeff Bosch who would make 26 saves on 29 shots the rest of the way.  Juha Metsola made 15 saves on 17 shots for the win.

The Tribe were 0/4 on the power play and 5/7 on the penalty kill.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings.  You can catch all the action on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo.  Pre-game starts at 6:45.
