Regina was able to score four third-period goals Tuesday and went on to beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 7-4 at the Brandt Centre in the Queen City.

Regina was able to open the scoring close to four minutes into the game when Cole Carrier came down the Moose Jaw right boards and put a shot past the blocker of Brock Gould.

Moose Jaw responded under two minutes later at 5:19 when Martin Lang was dragged down driving the Regina net and given a penalty shot.  Lang came in on the Pats goalie and slide a backhand over the goal line, his 15th tied the game at one.

Just over two minutes later and with the Warriors buzzing in the zone, Eric Alarie had the puck at the right goal line and made a cross-ice pass to Carson Sass at the left circle where he lifted a quick shot past the goalie, his first of the year and first as a Warriors gave Moose Jaw a 2-1 lead.

Inside the final four minutes of the period, the Pats Ryker Evans was able to sneak a shot under the pad of Brock Gould to tie the game at two.

3:10 into the second period, Regina was able to work a shot from the blue line that was deflected by Logan Nijhoff to give the Pats a 3-2 lead.

Moose Jaw was able to generate some early opportunities as the start of the third period but they were not able to convert.

That came back to hurt the Warriors, Regina would then pick up goals from Cole Carrier (3:38), Zack Smith (6:54), and Carson Denomie (7:57) to take a 6-2 lead.

The Warriors were finally able to respond at 8:32 when Jagger Firkus was able to get a shot from inside the Regina circles, the rebound came to Garrett Wright on the left side of the Pats net where he scored his fourth.

Just past the midway point of the period and on a two-man advantage, Daemon Hunt took a shot from the high-slot that went off Tate Popple and past the Regina goalie to pull Moose Jaw to within two.

The Warriors had momentum but were not able to keep it going as Regina scored not long after the Warriors goal to put the game out of reach.
