Despite losing their fourth straight on Wednesday night, the Moose Jaw Warriors were able to lock up second place in the East Division with the Swift Current Broncos’ loss in Regina.

Moose Jaw will have home-ice advantage in their first round series against the Broncos with Games 1 and 2 set for Friday, Mar. 24 and Saturday, Mar. 25 at Mosaic Place.

After that, the series will shift to Swift Current for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday, Mar. 28 and Wednesday, Mar. 29.

If necessary, Game 5 will be played at Mosaic Place on Friday, Mar. 31, followed by Game 6 in Swift Current on Saturday, Apr. 1 and then Game 7 on Monday, Apr. 3 in Moose Jaw.

This is the first time in 18 years that the Warriors and Broncos have met in the post-season. Moose Jaw won that 1999 playoff series in six games over Swift Current.

The two teams will give fans a preview of their first round series when they meet for a season-ending home-and-home series this weekend. They play Friday night in Swift Current and then close out the 72-game schedule at Mosaic Place on Saturday night.
