The Moose Jaw Warriors have all week to practice this week as they prepare for games in Prince Albert and Edmonton this weekend.

After a rough start to November, the Moose Jaw Warriors are enjoying some recent success.

The Warriors snapped a seven game losing streak last week, and now have five points in the last three games, and six in the last four.

The Warriors success is a result of good team play and strong team defense.

In three games last week, the Warriors allowed only two goals in regulation. In wins over Saskatoon and Medicine Hat, they allowed one goal and gave up 25 shots in both games.

They're only blemish was a 2-1 shootout loss to Swift Current last Saturday.

The Warriors will work on their team defense and focus on special teams this week as they prepare for road games in Prince Albert and Edmonton this weekend.

Moose Jaw beat the Raiders 4-3 in overtime October 12th, which was their only trip to Prince Albert this season.  Joel Broda led the Warriors that night, scoring two goals including the game winner.

Edmonton beat the Warriors 5-3 in their only meeting this season back on November 7th.  The Warriors gave up five second period goals to the Oil Kings in that game and it was the second of seven straight losses.

Both games this weekend can be heard on 800 CHAB and discovermoosejaw.com.  The Warriors and Raiders can be heard Saturday beginning at 7:15pm.  Sunday the Warrior and Oil Kings are on the air at 5:45pm.
