After two weeks on the road, the Moose Jaw Warriors are back at Mosaic Place on Friday night to host the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Warriors are riding a seven-game point streak after going 6-0-1 on their road trip and translating that success back to home ice is going to be the challenge now. Before leaving on the trek, the Warriors had lost four straight in front of the Mosaic Place faithful.

"We've just got to come back here and just play like we did on the road," said Warriors leading scorer Tristin Langan.

"We just played hard, depended on all four lines and all six defencemen, and our goalies played really well on the road so hopefully they can come back here and do that too."

The Warriors are a closer group after their two weeks on the road together and defenceman Jett Woo said that will help them bring their road success back home.

"We grew as a team off the ice and built a lot of chemistry and had fun, so it was a fun road trip and we’re looking forward to playing on home ice again," said Woo.

The last game of the Warriors' road trip was against the Tigers with Moose Jaw winning 3-1 at the Canalta Centre last Saturday.

Langan said they're expecting a good challenge from Medicine Hat, "They're a good team, they're dangerous off the rush and dangerous in the offensive zone, so we've got to be good in our own end and bury on our chances when we get them," he said.

Friday is also Don Cherry Night at Mosaic Place as the Warriors will be sporting uniforms modelled after one of Cherry's famous suits. The jerseys will also have the players' nicknames on the back.

"They're awesome jerseys, they're for a good cause and it's funny having all the guys nicknames on the back, gives everyone a good laugh, so it's going to be a fun night," said Langan, who will be going by "Lil Dew Wiz" on Friday.

The Warriors and Tigers face-off at 7 p.m. Friday night. The Pre-Game Show is on the air at 6:40 p.m. on Country 100.

On Saturday, the Warriors will be in Prince Albert to take on the CHL-leading Raiders.
