Moose Jaw's Ken Bradley is tied for 18th after the first round of the 2012 Canadian Senior Men's Golf Championship at Le Griffon des Sources golf course, just outside of Montreal.

Bradley fired an opening round of 77 to sit at 5-over and just five strokes off the lead.

Colin Coben from Delisle is in third place after the first round at +1.

A doubleheader in the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Minor Football League on Wednesday night over at Elks Field.

The Assiniboia Rockets will take on the Bombers in the Pee Wee game at 6:30pm, then the Raiders face off with the Colts in Bantam action at 8:30pm.

Registration for the Moose Jaw Aqua Otters synchronized swimming team is being held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.

They're in the pool every Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and every Saturday from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

The Toronto Blue Jays fell in a close one on Tuesday night, losing, 2-1, to the New York Yankees.

Ace Rickey Romero went seven innings, giving up just two runs on five hits, while striking out six.

The Jays and Yanks play the rubber match of their three game set on Wednesday morning at Yankee Stadium.  First pitch goes at 11:05am.
