The Moose Jaw Knights put together a good run at the Central Butte Atom B Tournament on Saturday.

The Knights made it into the 'A' Final, falling to the host Central Butte Flyers, 3-2 in a shootout.

Logan Dougherty and Jaxon Tatum scored for the Knights in the loss, while Goalie Jayce Finiak turned away 26 shots.

The Knights opened the tournament with a 10-1 win over the Caronport Cougars. Nash Williams had a hat trick in the win, while Porter Tkachuk and Colton Flanagan finished with two goals and four points each.

The Knights continued to roll in their second game, winning 12-0 over the Herbert Hawks. Raiden Molde and Rylan Taylor had a hat trick each in the win.

The Moose Jaw Vipers claimed the 'C' side at the tournament, finishing with a 13-2 win over Caronport after dropping a 7-3 game to Central Butte and a 6-0 game to the Gravelbourg Stars in the round robin.

It was a perfect weekend for the Moose Jaw Peewee Mavericks as they secured a pair of wins over the Wood River Ice Cats.

The Mavericks skated to a 12-3 win over the Ice Cats on Saturday in Lafleche and then picked up a 6-2 win on Sunday at the Bert Hunt Arena to close out the home-and-home in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League.

Jesse Mielke had a game to remember on Saturday as she scored six goals and finished with eight points to lead the way for the Mavericks. Ashley Breitkreuz picked up a hat trick and four points, while Sadie Hughes and Brinnagh McKean finished with a goal and two points each.

Tianna Wiebe had the other goal for Moose Jaw and Schay Camphaug earned the win in goal.

On Sunday, Mielke continued her offensive outburst with four goals in the win, while Breitkreuz had the other two goals, finishing with four points for Moose Jaw.

Camphaug was in goal again for the win, as the Mavericks improved to 5-2-1 this season.

They return to the ice next Friday, Dec. 7, when the Southwest Cyclones come to the Red Knight Arena.

In the Bantam A Division, the Moose Jaw Mavericks pulled off a hard-fought 2-0 win over the Regina Renegades at the Red Knight Arena.

Ellie Gauvin and Taylor Luciak scored in the win for Moose Jaw, while Sydnee Christmann made seven saves for the shutout, as the Mavericks outshot Regina, 45-7.

Moose Jaw sits at 10-0-0 this season. The Mavericks are back on the ice this Sunday to take on the Colts in Swift Current.

The Moose Jaw Warriors edged the Moose Jaw Red Warriors 5-1 on Sunday in a battle of the two local teams in the Hockey Regina Atom A Division.

Ryan Gibbs picked up a hat trick in the win, while Elijah McFadden finished with three assists for the Warriors. Micah Coupland and Kingston McLeod also scored.

Carter Hudyma had the lone goal for the Red Warriors in the loss.

In other Hockey Regina action over the weekend, the Midget A Warriors dropped three games, falling 13-2 to the Regina Blues on Friday, 8-2 to the Regina Cougars on Saturday, and 15-1 to the Notre Dame Argos on Sunday.

The Bantam A Warriors dropped their only game, losing 8-3 to the Regina Cougars on Sunday. Jacob King had a goal and two points, while Jacob Michelson and Hayden Hudyma also found the back of the net.

In the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League, the Moose Jaw Peewee AA Warriors dropped a pair of games over the weekend.

Moose Jaw came out on the losing end in a tight game against the Swift Current Broncos, falling 5-4, on Saturday and then dropped a 7-5 game against the Bruins in Estevan on Sunday.

Bryce Boughen picked up two goals and three points in Saturday's loss, while Marc Belanger had a goal and two points and Gage Nagel picked up the other marker for Moose Jaw.

On Sunday, Boughen had a hat trick in the loss, Bryson Aikens picked up a goal and two points and Brooklyn Nimegeers also scored. Dylan Duzan, Nolan Kearns and Aiden MacDonald had two assists each.

The Warriors return to the ice this weekend for a home-and-home with the Weyburn Wings. They meet on Saturday in Weyburn and on Sunday at noon at the Kinsmen Arena.

In other SAAHL action, the Midget AA Warriors took one on the chin, falling 8-1 to the Swift Current Broncos on Friday night at the Kinsmen Arena. Oliver Hallett had the lone goal in the loss for Moose Jaw, who will be back on the ice on Monday night to face the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox.
