I've never really been a big fan of cats.

Oh, I've had a few.  I liked all of them - some more than others.

Well, after I called local woman Karen Kennedy to tell her that her cat, Oscar, was the winner of our Pet Valu Perfect Pet Contest for the month of January, I'm now a fan of Oscar's!

The photo that was submitted to the contest shows Oscar enjoying a ride in a canoe.  I've never seen a cat in a canoe!  Well, there's much more to Oscar and his adventurous life.

He enjoys all sorts of activities and even has his own Instagram account which, by the way, is most entertaining.
