Shirley Marie McIntosh nee: Pawson of Moose Jaw, passed away March 17, 2013 at the age of 86. Shirley was born December 7, 1926 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She was pre­deceased by be beloved husband of 38 years, Lloyd, her parents, Samuel and Mary (Sharpe), brothers Benjamin, Harold and Raymond; and sisters Ruth and Hattie. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Mary (Wayne) Gerla, son Angus (Dara) McIntosh; five grandchildren, Tarilyn, Shelby, Alexandra, Victoria, and Dylan; sister, Searle; brother Lloyd (Mary) Pawson; sister-in-law Stella McIntosh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley worked for Imperial Oil Regina, Sask. Govt. Departments of Mineral Resources and Highways, CBC Radio, Richardson Greenshields, and St. Mark's Presbyterian Church in Moose Jaw She was an active member of the Catholic Woman's League, (local President 1970,71), served on the Diocesan Executive for several years; and also with St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, the White Hackle Pipe Band executive, the Dance Festival Committee, and the Moose Jaw Art Museum. Shirley will be remembered fondly for her vivaciousness, devotion and inspiration to her family, love of home and the arts. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave N.W., Moose Jaw on Saturday March 23, 2013 at 11:00 am with Father Barry Anwender Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Providence Place Foundation, 100 2nd Ave., N.E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1B8, would be appreciated.
