Moose Jaw's Michael Flegel has won a golf scholarship.

The 22-year old was one of several young Saskatchewan golfers to receive Saskatchewan Academic and Golf Excellence awards.

Each year SAGE doles out money to golfers based on a combination of academic marks and sporting excellence.

Flegel was given a thousand dollars to put towards his schooling at Camosun College in Victoria, BC.
