Golfers teed off for first time this year at many course around the province over the Easter Long Weekend, one of them was the Harbour Golf Club and Resort in Elbow.

They opened up their course tee-to-green on Friday morning.  "We've done a number of renovations to the facility, the golf course has wintered well, we're in great shape," says Club Pro Mark Patterson.

They've made a number of changes to the course over the past year, none more noticable then the addition of a creek to hole two, says Patterson, "We started last year, we linked two ponds together so there's a creek now going across hole number two up by the green.  It's a par five, sort of a risk-reward type of thing."

Patterson adds that they've also done some renovating of their website, "It will probably be up and running in the next week or two.  We also have online booking, so if anybody wants to do it that way, just go online and you can get your own tee time."

Here in Moose Jaw, the Hillcrest opened up the back nine on Saturday and the Lynnbrook has 14 of 18 holes open.  All driving ranges, including Deer Ridge, are open.
