Four Moose Jaw lacrosse teams are setting up shop in Calgary for the long weekend as they compete in the annual Canada Day Lacrosse Tournament.

The first team on the floor is in the Novice 'A' division as the Mustangs hit the floor against the Calgary Axemen at 4 p.m. on Friday. They will also meet the Rockyview Rage at 9 a.m. and the Calgary Hornets at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday before closing the round-robin against the Calgary Sabrecats on Sunday at 1:45 p.m.

In the Midget 'B' division, the Mustangs take on the Blackfalds Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night in their opening game after a silver medal finish in the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League.

The Mustangs will then battle the Sherwood Park Titans at 2:15 p.m. and the Strathmore Venom at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Moose Jaw finishes the round robin against the Denver Elite on Sunday at 2:15 p.m.

The Mustangs will face the Calgary Axemen at 8:15 p.m. in their opening game of the Peewee 'B' division. 

On Saturday, Moose Jaw tangles with the Calgary Sabrecats at 11:45 a.m. and then on Sunday, they face the Blackfalds Warriors at 8 a.m. and the Sherwood Park Titans at 3:30 p.m. to finish the round robin.

Finally, the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League bantam champion Mustangs battle the Strathmore Venom in their opening game at 9:15 p.m. on Friday.

They have two more games on Saturday, taking on the Sherwood Park Titans at 3:45 p.m. and then the Rockyview Rage at 8:45 p.m. 

The Mustangs’ final round-robin game will be against the Denver Elite at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
