Moose Jaw's Marie Wright, Moose Gibson and Saskatchewan 1 are into the playoff round at the 2019 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship.

Saskatchewan 1 split their two games Monday, falling 6-3 to Northern Ontario and winning 7-6 in an extra end over Quebec 1, to finish the round robin at 4-2.

That record was good enough to give Saskatchewan 1 third place in Pool A and a spot in the quarterfinals on Tuesday morning.

Donna Ackerman and Saskatchewan 2 split their two games Monday as well but finished just on the outside of the playoff picture with a 3-3 record.

Saskatchewan 2 opened the day with an 8-6 win over British Columbia 1 but lost 9-2 to New Brunswick to just miss the playoffs.

Saskatchewan 1 will go up against Manitoba in a 2vs3 game on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. If they win there, they will advance into the semifinals against Ontario 1 at 5 p.m.

Saskatchewan 2 takes on B.C. 2 in the seventh place game at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The medal games will be played on Wednesday morning.
