The local golfers that competed in the High School Districts on the weekend.

The Peacock Boys Golf team is off to provincials after winning the High School Golf District Championship over the weekend at the Habour Golf Club in Elbow.

Peacock won the boys title by a dominating 76 strokes over Gravelbourg after firing a combined 226.  Craik was third with a 324.

Leighton Bearchell led the way for Peacock and came in second in the individual tournament, shooting a 73, which was four strokes off the lead.  City Champion Nathan Corrin was tied for third with a 76.

Tyrin Foley from Bengough won the tournament after shooting a 69.

Peacock's two girls, Brioney Montgrand and Meghan Kardash, struggled finishing in 6th and 7th place respectively.

Provincials start on Thursday in Prince Albert.
