Former Moose Jaw Warrior captain Brayden Point signed a three year bridge deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning that will pay him just over $20 million over three years.

Point scored 41 goals and 51 assists last season for the Lightning, setting career highs in both. He finished sixth in the NHL in goals for the 2018-19 campaign. 

While he was with the Warriors from 2011 to 2016, Point scored 134 goals and 190 assists for 324 points in 252 regular season games, ranking third in franchise history. He scored 13 goals and 13 assists in 24 career playoff games for the Warriors as well.
